You're an above average poster.
Pettersson should be stuck in the ahl to force his next contract to be lower.
If we'd done that with boeser he would cost us millions less. Us fans because it's not FA's money.
Edit

Don't worry, all our available cap will be going to Karlsson once Benning acquires him for scraps, coincidently making room for the kids.
Dare to dream. |

teams arent looking to add scraps at the moment. All teams have a surplus of fringe players competing for spots. Trades will be made between November and March as injuries begin to pile up across the league. - CanuckDon
Very astute post there Don.

Times are changing for Canuck fans! Teams got some very exciting prospects. Realistically how many rookies would you like in your starting line up? See no problem bringing them in gradually. |

Exactly. Even the guys with value we do have I can't see being moved until the TDL unless multiple kids come into camp and outplay vets. Karlsson getting dealt before preseason is interesting though, for sure. Bringing in Ryan for picks and prospects seems like too savvy of a move for JB at this point but I'm hoping to be proven wrong. If MB can pull off that nice of a deal though, there's an outside chance. |

It'd be cool to see Dahlen and EP make it together and play on a line with a vet that suites their style. I don't see more than 3 cracking this lineup, with Juolevi being the other one with a shot. |

You can bet Greens giving nothing on potential. Results or Utica. Would think Petersen is there, the rest will have to have amazing camps. Future looks bright, stay the course. |

I also want to take on a sh!t contract for picks but I don’t think i could get behind the Ryan deal. If we didn’t have Loui, Gagner etc. Perhaps it could work but unfortunately we have quite a few overpaid scrubs. |

The kids are fighting for top 6 spots not bottom 6. Gaunce is not & won’t be in the top 6 & the kids are not a fit in the bottom 6.
Polite or not that’s how we sit with prospects - Nighthawk
Top 6 or bust?
Gaunce is a 22 year old bottom 6 prospect who will be a prime bottom 6 player in 4 years when we are competitive again. Or is 22 to old to still be a prospect? |

best part of his interview was when asked about not scoring with almost 200 shots last year he said he couldn't believe it and even Gaunce got 1 off his ass |

via @TheFourthPeriod - "All indications are that there is a serious offer on the table right now for Erik Karlsson, from a team out West. The Sens are reportedly asking for a top young defenseman, a top prospect, a roster player, and an additional pick."
It's San Jose. |
