Non prospects

Sutter
Beagle
Roussel
Schaller
Gagner
Granlund
Gaunce

There is 7 nobody wants in the top 6 if prospects make the team. Where does that leave for new blood to play? Top 6 duh

I Quote my earlier post. Only spots open are top 6 for prospects to earn

- Nighthawk

I wouldn't be surprised to see any of the top 3 in the top 6 at regular points this season.

I don't want any bad contract over one year
- VANTEL

Any more?

Cause there are already a bushel of bad contracts longer than one year...

In NHL19 you can't give gudbrandson, eriksson or beagle away even with held salary.

I could see gaudette pushing one of the bottom 4 listed down the depth chart

Schaller
Gagner
Granlund
Gaunce

I find line-ups are easier than lists.
We don’t have a 4th C to my liking & if that becomes AG then EP is on the wing. If we go with EP at C odds are AG goes to Utica. I think he should stay up but roster crunch says otherwise.

Pre-season games should help clear the picture up a bit.

If somebody really stands out & shines.
If they do its nice problem for JB to have.

In fact this is our best prospect pool ever & i fully expect some tough decisions lay ahead after preseason ends. Not since Gradin Smyl & Fraser has it been this interesting.

Plus, realistically, Sutter is the second line C.

TOI probably but not 2nd scoring line.
Ideally that is realistically we will see.

Expect the Sutter & Beagle lines to get the D zone starts. Bo’s line in the O zone & the 2nd scoring line neutral zone starts. 3rd/4th lines on the PK & 1st/2nd lines on the PP

I would rather have Bobby Ryan and Adam Gaudette in the lineup than Beagle and Rousel, especially if it landed us an additional 1st or 2nd round pick.

Dahlen Pettersson Ryan
Goldobin Horvat Boeser
Baertschi Gaudette Virtanen
Gaunce Sutter Schaller
Archibald

Yeah, line numbering has less meaning now with goons out of the game. The elite teams put together 3 scoring lines and 1 checking line.

That should be the end goal when the Canucks are a legit playoff team again

Preaching to the choir, I’ve been saying it for years now that I wish Benning would just take on bad veteran contracts for picks instead of handing them out himself

I like Roussel though, he was my fav out of the 3 signings

Exactly. I expect us to be 2 scoring lines & 2 checking energy lines.

I must have missed the memo where opposing coaches send out their top players to play against our shut down guys and only send scrubs out to play against all our rookies so they look good.

I believe vintage is referring to a parallel universe where Benning isn’t allowed to sign UFA’s for more than 2 years

You have to pay extra for that.

Just pick any of the forwards who aren't on that roster, plus one of either Hutton or Stecher.
