What if he doesn't really to play in CALIF. Do you pay big time and he walks after a season. As a Flyers fan, we could use Karlsson, but I would give anything big, knowing I gave away a good prospect, and he walks. Not easy to make a deal here unless you are foolish

Your point system means nothing without the other teams to compare them to. Otherwise it's just a number that you made up that references players production and salary.

Why not use the advanced stat like point shares.

Having EK and Burns on the back end will make your entire forward group look more dangerous

Karlsson would make SJ a pretty scary team to play against.. OR, maybe they use Karlsson to get that top C. Who knows.. either way, SJ wants to win a Cup with its current core. It's now or never so might as well go for it if the options are there.

You can get away without having an elite #1 C if you have a score of Karlsson/Burns/Vlasic. All of a sudden Couture as your top C becomes a lot more tolerable

Karlsson has been traded but delayed because Melnyk negotiating lower long distance fee to NHL head offices.

I don't think Tampa lets anybody else do the deal. They have too many horses in reserve. More guys in their system then they have places to move them.
