Dube was my dark horse to make the team out of camp a few months ago. From what I caught of the rookie camp games he sure hasn't disappointed

Valimaki has looked pretty damn good too

Tre was still Burkes hire which means he shares some of the same philosophies. I dont doubt one of Hathaway, Lazar, shaw or Peluso will be in the line up opening night.

Ducks blog is talking about how Ritchie could be the odd man out. What would you guys think of trying to get him (no (frank)ing way he's worth Bennett though!).

I'd give up Lazar though

On the other hand... With the moves BT made in the off season we don't really need to add any more bottom 6 guys. Plus we already have enough players that take stupid penalties

Treliving is the GM, not the coach.

Rough couple days for the Flames. They're now probably the second best team in the division behind the Sharks. Time to go get Nylander.

About 8 million a year and a bunch of draft picks.

Do we got a new 3rd jersey this year?

I’ve seen some sweet concept jerseys online I’ll see if I can post them.

Maybe a 4th jersey. I can't see them getting rid of the red and yellow.

With the moves Dorian's been making, Duchene for Stone, Dube, and a 2nd seems like a pretty reasonable offer.

Let's get McPhee involved! Maybe we can find a way for Vegas to take B.Ryan and we can somehow end up with Tkachuk & Glass

Edit:

And keep your hands off my Dube!

Hell, Dorion might take that offer for Stone.

I agree totally! Both players have a real good chance at making the team. Watched Tri City Kelowna playoffs, they had something going on between them. Lots of after the whistle stuff, trash talk, I'm sure they've talked about it since. Dressing room chit chat.
As for Hunks idea of going after hometown boy Nylander lets do this. Not sure what it would take, definitely Bennetts name would be one they'd be asking for. Just can't stop thinking about that Gilmore for Leeman trade.

Well if it has to be one , I hope it's Hathaway. We've started with questionable players the last 2 years. I would hope Peters is smart enough to realize that.

Honestly, it could be a somewhat reasonable offer for Duchene. In real life, it would probably take a first.

It would never happen for Stone. Who knows if there's any truth them, but there have been rumours all summer that Stone wants Ottawa to build the team around him and wasn't going to resign in Ottawa if Karlsson did.

I don't think Dubas will entertain trading Nylander after he publically stated that it wouldn't be fair to Tavares.

I like Nylander & think he would fit well with us, but just don't think it's going to happen. I think the Leafs are more likely to be shopping Kadri around than Nylander.

Odds are he signs something like a 6x6.5 and Toronto doesn't make any big changes until either TDL or next off season when Marner & Matthews are up.

Either way, I think Hamilton would've been the key to getting Nylander in a flames jersey, regardless...
