Excellent trade. I thought the Sharks were the Heavy favorite to win the pacific before the trade, now I put them at the top of the west.

SJS are in WIN NOW mode more than any team in the NHL most of their best players are in their 30s and 40s.

Listen....don’t drag your deviant sexual fantasies into this...stick to hockey.

It’s no secret the Sens are in TNT mode, so the return on EK wasn’t going to be full value (&, yeah, ok Wilson did some fleecing in this one), but those guys are decent young players that came from a solid locker room & may be able to help fill roles as they rebuild.

- Team_Teal

They didnt get one KEY piece. A Sharks 1st rounder isnt going to be that great. Its an insane fleecing by Wilson. Same with the Hoffman deal.

jesus dude, you should be as upset as sens fans....the kings are going to get absolutely female dog slapped in their division this year. SJ, VGK, and Cgy all improved a lot. anaheim is still a beast, and edmonton could definitely bounce back. going into this season, the only team the kings are clearly better than is Van, and prob edm (but i'd never count out a team with mcdavid)
- sensarmy_11

While it sucks to see other Pacific teams adding so much for so little. I prefer all teams to be better for better games. VGK didnt exactly upgrade. A lot of side stepping. Would I prefer LA to get more guys sure.. But with the system in place LA can beat anyone if they arent being streaky. Im not that worried about the Kings TBH. As long as they are a playoff team and are implementing younger players im fine. Nobody female dog slaps the Kings though man. The Vegas LA series were basically all 1 goal games.

Even a side step is an upgrade for Vegas because all their draft picks from last year are closer to being quality nhlers.

Jones, Yammamoto, Bouchard, Maroody, Bear, Benson, McCloud, a mem cup winning goalie in Skinner, no prospects developing? Throw Jesse Pul in there as hes barely 20 years old and has not even 100 games played.

We were always gonna lose this trade. Hope he stays in San Jose and we dont see him on an Eastern team tomorrow. Enjoy the cup run

I'm too lazy ... but can someone please do a breakdown of everything San Jose and Ottawa gave up with those 2 trades ... and include what San Jose turned Hoffman into.
Would be interested to see if any picks cancel out. I think Florida gave us a second for Hoffman?

Sharks gm should be in Jail right now. 1 count Trade-Rape. Ottawa has a long road to recovery after that. Not even a little spit.

This may look good on paper for the Sharks, but the guys you are sending back leave a huge hole in your 13th forward/middling prospect/meh draft pick roster.

So suck it, Sharks fans!

Damnit.
