yeah no kidding... especially since the Sharks pretty much fleeced the Sens in that Hoffman deal... if what AJ Haefle said is true that Karlsson wouldnt resign w the Av's then I wonder how many other teams EK said no to like that and thats what likely screwed them in getting a more solid return. also, do you really wanna be dealing EK to Tampa and risk seeing him beat your team up all year?

NHL really needs flexible divisions they adjust each year. Real shame the Avs don't get to play their biggest rival this year, the Senators. If only we could trade like Dallas for the Senators. Way easier games for Nashville, Winnipeg, St. Louis, and Minnesota; Avs get to enjoy beating them more often, and we all still get the fun of beating the Blackhawks all year.
