Secondly, I love this time of year too!! Canucks hockey is starting and Jim Benning somehow fluked into drafting Elias Pettersson, the Oakland Athletics are gonna make the post season (not a Jays fan) and NFL football is back on.

The thing is, if you have a defenseman who can score 30-35 points but play way worse D than Larsson, you're going to play that guy ahead of him. He's just too one dimensional to be a top four on a great team.

I wasn't as high as most on the Sharks before the Karlsson trade, but they're definitely not too old to compete. Yeah, Thornton is a grandpa now, but no one else has aged out of their prime. Burns and Pavelski probably only have a couple years left of being elite players. Unless they completely fall off a cliff this year, they're still way, way, way above average.

Everyone else that matters is under 31 or under, and they have a solid group of under 25 players as well.

Will you be posting your blogs in the correct section when the season starts? Or just holding onto the capitals spot in case you decide to switch teams again this December?

He would be a top 4 on the Pens and probably the Jets barely . Leafs for sure , Caps for sure , most of the teams in the league really .

Tanner has no qualms about exposing his kids to second-hand smoke, but is perfectly comfortable criticizing parents (including me) who buy backyard equipment so our kids can be more physically active.

Mr. Tanner need Miss Cleo's help. Larsson is not a 3rd pair defenseman. He was 2nd on the team at ESTOI/GP and first in SHTOI/GP among Edmonton defenseman. Larsson is a solid defenseman.

Because you have responded to the question over a dozen times but have never said why you can't or won't get it fixed.

If you're not the kind of parent who gets mad if someone swears in front of their kid, but has no problems giving them a tablet to go nuts on, I'll eat my hat.
