You know Rodin is on waivers today? And not likely in a situation similar to Zack Smith where he's magically back with the team tomorrow.

Let's see what tonight brings ... should be fun. Like that the youngsters are going to get prove it minutes. They'll be fine. Sam has been owning Jr and Troy makes it a habit of crushing Canadian dreams in world Jrs.

I can see it. Perry is going to pull a Selanne, get the knee repaired and come back dominant again!

He should, but Carlyle is a weird coach.

The guy had 17 goals last year, and 19 the year before. Not stellar for a guy with the offensive opportunities he has been given. A shame he still has 3 years at 8.6M per, but maybe he can pull a Selanne and come back to his former all-star self. Been a fan of this talented pest for some time, but I am not expecting much going forward.

Really looking forward to seeing the young guys steel/terry (maybe others sherwood? comtois?) get a legit look not playing on the 4th line like Carlyle likes to do with young guys

I watched Rodin live a few times. You can do better, even on the fourth line.

I do like the idea of trading for Simmons though

Rodin looked great in the AHL, but yeah he's made out of glass and didn't look that good in his short NHL stint.

Even if he does play well enough for a top 12 spot, you'll be luck to get 60 games out of him and I can't imagine him holding up in a playoff series when the hits per game double.
