It's a full roster definitely. The thing is I keep wondering what happens if the young players keep playing at this pace they are showing. I mean the speed they bring is great. Especially Sherwood. That guy is just full steam ahead. But like last year the young players slowed down a little right before Christmas. And it's going to be a real test of management and the coaching staff if they are be patient.
Honestly with the depth we have we should be able to rotate some in and out from San Diego. Kossella, Roy, Fiore, Jones should see some action with the ducks this season. And obliviouly the learning curve is harsh. And in this crazy Pacific division every point will probably be needed to make the playoffs. But honestly that old adage off " taking one step back to take two steps foward" may really apply to this season. Meaning if we want to be contenders again maybe making the playoffs shouldn't be that top priority. Maybe the top priority is the development of younger players. And if we make the playoffs it just icing on the cake |

Is there a timetable on Kossila?
He could be a great 4C if Kesler isn't available. It would also require the removal of a checking line as you mentioned. |

Real excited to see the kids ... real talent up there ... I need to temper my enthusiasm... they look great but let’s see how they look after 50 games .. |

Kesler broke into the league on RW, I bet you a nickel he sees time there on the top line this year. |

Probable that Kessler will retire this year. His style of play has caught up to him and after a final valiant attempt to keep truckin', his body will force him to hang up the skates.
His will is strong, but his body's weak. |
