13) In 2018-19, there is an NHL team in Las Vegas, but not in Quebec City, even with a state-of-the-art arena now in a city that loved the Nordiques madly. Quebeckers are not going to get the next one either. Shame on the NHL.

First time reader Jay - very enjoyable article, will be searching archives for more of your content.

Yes, Gretzky played in an era when headhunters abounded - of course it did not hurt to have Semenko riding herd on the left side - have to wonder how many free dinners Gretz bought for him..

As I read about the Tom Wilson 20 game suspension, I have to ponder whether Scott Stevens would play more than 20 games a year in this era!

John Scott, not only making the All-Star game, but winning the game MVP. Strangest and most awesome thing I've ever experienced in hockey, as a fan of the game and what it's really about.
