How about not jeering him at home games, in the first game of the season?
Not that you were there, but Blues fans in general can have an effect. Right now, they are negatively having an effect. It would be nice if they gave him a chance this year instead of just tearing him down at the very first chance they get.
I don't care who you are, it is going to negatively effect any athlete that gets jeered at home. Not just by a small crowd, but by 80% of the crowd. It was embarrassing to hear. It isn't going to help. It is only going to hurt his confidence, which is bad for the Blues.
Cheering for a Blues player......I know, it's hard for some.
If you don't want to cheer, just try and be silent for a little bit. We all know how you feel, continuing to be loud about it online isn't going to do anything either. Just saying.

I was at the game.
I did not jeer. Nor was i embarrassed by those who did, as you were, for some reason.
Other people can jeer if they want, I don't care one way or the other. As long as they're not throwing objects, being vulgar around kids, and the like, they shell out the clams to be there, to park, to invest the time - let them jeer, I say. Boo if they must.
The opposite of cheering isn't jeering. It's silence, apathy, walking out the door, turning the channel.
As long as they're jeering or booing, they're emotionally invested. Which is what you should want.
The most storied franchise in NFL history, the Green Bay Packers, were booed off their own field at halftime of their home and season opener while down 23-0 to the Chicago Bears.
Ain't nothing wrong a few placed boos.
Y'all's sentiment about this just proves what everyone already knows about Jake Allen. There's nothing wrong with him physically. His emotional and mental game is a complete wasteland.
Personally, if I were to ever emit a jeer - it would be directed at AP27. He's the guy I have no use for.
