Well the 92-93 habs didn't win their home opener either, so there's still hope.
It was a tie game - Pat1993

But I just don't get that double review thing... Is it that hard to make sure they have a good goal according to all the rules, and not just some of them, the first time they call "good goal"?

Big time... Guys on the panel last night talking about how Bergevin has let the other 30 GMs know that he has Fs available... |

There was a slight contact, but what pisses me off is that now they just don't look at whether the contact prevented the goalie from stopping the puck. In this instance, it didn't.
...and I don't get it either...seems that the ref didn't called goaltender interference because that wasn't the call that was reversed by the league.
They just covered themselves with ridicule last night. |

Well, with Deslauriers and De La Rose being close to be healthy, they will have to move someone |

Campbell was on white ice, Shaw was doing what he needs to do... It was a slight bump but who initiated it? I think it was clearly a goal! Maybe the fact that it was Shaw played a part in that decision

They'll have to move 2 and then Weber and Schlemko will force them to move again... If the team stays fairly healthy that is |

Maybe but the Fs are coming back shortly, De La Rose might be cleared before the next game and Deslauriers will wear a cage... Someone will be moved in the next week. Scherbak is the most likely candidate but there's others obviously |

That was a good goal. NHL really needs to get its poop together with this rule. |

Deslauriers will be waived and nobody will pick him up.
Now that he can't fight... he's of little use. |

Agreed. But it doesn't matter, losing 3-0 or 3-1 is still losing.
At least it was a good effort, with a little bit more luck Habs could have gotten a point yesterday.
I like what I'm seeing from alot of players out there.... Drouin and Kotkaniemi need to be better than what they've shown yesterday (or since the beginning of the season for Drouin) |

They switch Drouin and Tatar in the third.
Too bad because the Gallagher-Danault-Tatar line was still pretty effective yesterday. |
