I like whirling dervishes.

I don't know what to do with my hands still.

Great win during the manatee game.

nice read as usual, winning is so much better then sucking..... I know it is early but this team reminds me a lot of the 2005-2006 lockout team.. I'm not predicting playoffs by any means but I can absolutely see this team fighting for the last spot...

Nice write-up, Pach

I was thinking about something you wrote in the off-season before the 2017-18 season about how the defense had similar potential to the 2010-11 playoff team through a "defense-by-committee" approach

I think you were right, but just off by a year. The three pairs are pretty solid, and should be further bolstered by Bogo replacing Beaulieu at some point soon

I am happy also but sad when I think there was a time when missing the playoffs was unthinkable for this franchise.

Great write up as usual Pach. It sure is nice to see some optimism on this board due to the winning ways of the Sabres (and Bills).

The only negative I see in their situation right now is Thompson getting sent down and Larsson being activated. I don't want Larsson anywhere near this team. He brings nothing. If they want Thompson to work on a few things in Rochester, that's fine. But bring up stinklander in his place.

Also, that 4th line from the 2013/14 season was something....

if they can have three solid pairings and roll four lines in front of consistently good goaltending...

who knows?

January, 2013...it hit me just how long it's been since we've had anything truly to be optimistic about...2016-17 was a fair to partly good season but this one, should it continue this way, could be a lot of fun

Self banning myself for the rest of the day due to numerous typos and multiple postings of the same posting. Unacceptable. I wasn't following the process.
