Anthony Travalgia: On Chris Wagner as Tim Schaller's replacement With Tim Schaller now in Vancouver, Chris Wagner will be asked to fill his role on the fourth line.

I always liked Wagner when he was on the Ducks. He turned into our shutdown center last season when Kesler missed the first half. If the Bs have him on your 4th line, he'll make his minutes count.

OK, so the B's are all set for the 1st Line and the 4th line..........................
that 2nd line will make or brake this Season Need Krejci to really step it up, can he still do it ?? or do they need to ADD an NHL top 6 guy

That 1st line is all they need, much like Dallas 1st line. Insane amount of skill that will likely take them both to the playoffs. Obviously some depth in the organization would be nice for your team, I'm sure Debrusk and Donato will get things going soon.

I think they have so many options for Krejcis RW that they’ll eventually find an internal solution that works or make a trade for a legit guy. I’m more worried about 3C. I think Backes is the best fit right now but they’ll need better to match up against elite teams

If all we're asking Backes to do is be a 3rd line center I think they'll be ok. Its the position he's used to, and if losing weight has actually made him faster, all the better.
