"Let that sink in for a moment. According to these odds McLellan has a more likely chance of being fired than the team that lost Erik Karlsson for nothing. "

With all due respect, what does the one GM's trade have to do with McLellan's coaching?

Hall for Larsson was 1 for 1.

Does McLellan deserve to be in the hotseat or does Peter Chirelli.

McLellan constantly blends his lines and prevents many players from ever developing chemistry. He was frustrating to Sharks fans when he was here and now he's frustrating to Oilers fans. Every coach blends a bit here and there, but McLellan seems to punish young players for playing well. It makes no sense. Honestly I feel the Oil need a fresh coach from the semi-pro or college level. Someone that UNDERSTANDS how to play and develop young players.

I am not saying Mclellen should be exempt from questioning or firing, but what has PC done, other than draft McDavid (gifted), to make the oilers better. Best player in the world and can't give him a proper supporting cast. Its absolutely awful what he has done.

True, but McLellan seems absolutely incapable of using what supporting cast that has been provided. Thusly I say (frank)ing (frank) them (frank)ing (frank)ers both.

My question is why is Guy Boucher the 2nd most likely to be fired? Talk about a coach who's been given next to nothing to work with... If that team doesn't finish in the bottom 5, Boucher should be given the (frank)in Honour of Canada for christ's sake.

Let it sink in that you are getting your info from a gambling website? I assume you get your news from Facebook meme's and newsfeeds as well.

Boucher doesn't get fired. No way scrooge McDuck Melnyk signs off on someone getting paid to not work for him.

What bugs me is that they want to coach their players so that they fit in with the "system", but other coaches - like Gallant in vegas- coach players in a way that complements their strengths. Why the heck aren't we doing that instead?

Chiarelli's crime is that he's taken a team that should've been a shoe-in to contend for many years and set the roster back to being a bubble team for now while he builds a team identity and a prospect pipeline. He's sat on his hands and done little to nothing after a number of missteps (which at least seems to show he learned something).

McLellan's crime is taking a young roster that should be a bubble team and turning them into a consistently low-energy grindfest without any attitude. This roster should be capable of playing fast, physical and enjoyable hockey but is relegated to playing an old and broken system that is being proven to not work night after night after night after night.

This was true last year and taking one steps accelerates the timeline of taking the next one. It should've been done last year when the season was already down the drain but now we have to burn another 10-20 games.

Its unbelievable. As well as lucic on the second line. This team should be exciting to watch and I cant even bring myself to tune in. The coach is an idiot.

Guy Boucher is the least paid coach in the league on the last year of his deal. No way Eugene lets that go before term end.

Who's a better available coach? Hitchcock? These "Players" coaches are not getting the job done.

McClellan is coaching with a noose dangling in his face knowing his assistant is ready and supposedly capable (?). Can't be a comfortable environment in that locker room and won't be until they string a pile of wins together.
