To me. The team has looked disinterested for years now. No sense of urgency. Compete lvl's are so low. They need to get the fire back. And Stevens needs to go. And it isnt even that hes a bad coach. But as people have said before. Its the same voice basically. Its stale.

It was the first time in a long long time that I changed the channel to watch a Lakers game while a Kings game was on. It was downright disgusting. I've been a Kings fan long enough to know garbage when I see it and I'm seeing it all over again. The captains need to step up and say something inspiring to some of their fellow veterans or the kids will be spoilt too.

AV! At least he has a personality.

I imagine that Dave Lowry would replace him, though only as interim head coach until a permanent one could be hired, perhaps not until the end of the season. There probably aren't many great coaches just sitting around in the middle of the season, waiting for the phone to ring, like Sutter was.

I think that I read that he was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, so he might not be coaching for a while.

I ran into Zlatan in the concourse at the game during 2nd intermission and asked if he would be interested in suiting up and playing the third period, it being LA Galaxy night and all.

I would say he is gone based on the 4-0 score late in the second, Quick is not good anymore and the team is in disarray

He does not have a lot of options or the place will be empty. Wow are they ever bad and I own three of them unfortunately Kovy, Carter and Toffolli

I'm a bit worried. Seems as though they have the players to score goals and create opportunities but there seems to be some sort or disconnect; as if they are not really all that interested in winning. Steven's is a good coach so I'm not going to put this on him. He is a players coach that will let the players be the ones to push each other. I don't think that is a bad thing. I definitely am not happy with Blake. He is taking away from the identity of the team, trying to make them something they are not. You don't have to necessarily abandon the whole, "heavy" sort of play that the team was known for; he should focus on improving the defense because Pfaneuf, Martinez, Muzzin, and some others are just bums at this point. Doughty has sucked the last couple of games, himself. I'm not saying that they should play Sutter Hockey. Not at all. Corsi should not be the dominant stat game in and game out. But the punishment factor that they imposed on other teams.has got to be brought back. Kovalchuk is a strong dude. He is capable. They should have traded for McQuaid when he became available.

McQuaid might of been the right character type guy. But LA doesn't seem to want to trade any of the current D. Id like to see perhaps someone like him in place of Forbort. And give Doughty one of the younger skilled kids. But this team is in a bad place and sinking.
