They're more fun to watch than last year...coughing up a 3-1 lead sucked though.

The only poopty thing about Toronto not making the playoffs is they are likely to win the draft lottery.

I love that the habs can actually score some goals, but Price looks so average.

Habs looking great, I'll admit I did not see this coming at all. After all the negativity around the team from the media etc, I'd say they deserve it right now.

A lot of us didn't either ... amazing what a little thing called chemistry can do.
Getting rid of a few sourpusses seems to have done wonders for morale.

How long it lasts is anyone's guess but we're just enjoying the ride right now.

Caps fan, That was a embarrassing last handful of minutes. Im sure you guys felt the same about the 2nd period when OV&co. Cameback.
Anyway I heard the hype around the new look habs surprising people this year and I just want to give you guys credit between the adding Domi,Tatar, drafting Kotiniemi or however its spelled, Habs actually have some speed&offense. Who knows stay healthy and grab a WC or something

Xavier Ouellet was the most used defensemen at 5 on 5. Finished at +1, he's quietly becoming a stable presence back there.

Him and Juulsen look pretty reliable. Need those guys to make up for Petry , Benn and Reilly's brainfarts.

Juulsen had a bad game yesterday but he had a great start before the little injury

He's not playing bad. Still has the occasional brainfart though.

Considering he has to play top minutes playing alongside Benn and Alzner, he's been pretty good.

Benn hasn't been bad so far either. Alzner is just hopeless.

At this point I'd try to trade Alzner while retaining 2M$/year cap space. Cut your losses.

We have the cap space, you need a 7th in case of injuries. Let him eat hotdogs all year, no rush.
