He sucks right now. Not mediocre. Sucks. But he’s not going to be able to put his game together behind this defence right now. As much as he’s handing over goals right now, so is that defence. The way they play these 2-on-1s... they might as well be 2-on-0s - DoubleDown

Nice to see the real habs come out to play in these 2 last games.
Turnovers galore, can't get the puck out of their zone, terrible d coverage... it is 2017/18 all over again, but with more goals for.
So exciting..... |

So Montreal has one of the most prolific centers in the league.
If they only had elite goaltending.

I was playing soccer in MTL so I caught most of the game on the radio can't really comment. Saw the highlights, Ouellet did a really bad binch.
Seems like Deslauriers is finding his pace, about time. |

That pinch was brutal. He hesitated way too long, and then still went in and was way too late. And really, while Price has to make that save on the game winner, if Lehkonen isn't going to score, at least hit the net. Same time, Reilly needs to get it to him quicker. Shall we also ask why Peca, Lehkonen and Reilly are on the ice in OT? |

Peca had a great game. no issue with him on the ice. and Reilly is their best skater. as for Lek, once the third period is over he should just hit the showers. |

You can make an argument Peca was having a good game. Reilly is your second less worst D I guess.
I guess it took 16 games for Clode to be Clode. Seems he got a whiff of the opportunity to make the playoffs and he's going to ride his vets/grinders for the rest of the year. |

i also think they're going to go back to a more conservative style of play assuming this is how Price is going to play. you can't go into every game knowing you need 4 or 5 to win. same way a goalie can't go into a game knowing that he gives up 2 goals it's game over. |

Weird season for goalies so far, some like Price, Holty, Fleury, Bobvrosky are really struggling while Rinne Vasilevskiy and others are stellar seems like there's no median |

Peca had a great game. So did Deslauriers, but I don't want to see him on the ice for OT. why not KK? Gallagher? I have no problem with Reilly being on. I was just referring to the specific threesome. |

not sure but i know they won't continue to consistently play a style that sees them give up 4-5 goals every night. |

wasn't KK on the ice before that? i seem to recall. anyway Claude tends to play the hot hand.
and Lekhonen. always Lekhonen.
oh also, the sarcastic cheers for Price... that was good stuff. nothing bad can come from that. |

KK is a little slow for OT. Kid has tons of talent but he still needs to improve his skating. |

No surprise there. And then the genius asks him about it after the game. |
