Yes it proves that but how does it make you feel that a Veteran like Duchene saying "he hasnt paid attention for 3 weeks" to the team meetings. That is not a good attitude to have even if it is justified and it sets a bad example for the younger player

People tend to exaggerate, pretty much always. It was a group of guys complaining about their boss and you can't take everything they say literally.

exactly.....like when I complain about my boss droning on for 3 hours, when he was actually only talking for about 10 minutes

I dont know about the rest of you but IMO the video tells me that those 6 players in particular care about the results on the ice and the way this team is trending in the short term.

Forget for a second that this was recorded (which is really the only problem). What they're saying is that (a) we recognize that our special teams are not faring well right now and (b) This could be rectified if the coach in charge of the special teams communicates what he wants from his players more effectively than he is doing right now.

everyone is focusing on the sound bites and missing the message. Sure saying "i stopped paying attention 3 weeks ago" doesnt sound good but theres a message there. Sure these 6 guys and others on the team need to tell the coach thet they dont get what he wants out of them. then again it wasnt their intention for him to find out about this through a nanny cam either.

It would have been real easy to say "i dont care about our team stats or the results as long as i'm getting paid". instead what i took away was that they do have some pride and they want to see better results. just my take

Whether right or wrong of Uber to release, the players should have been aware they were being recorded imo. Uber cars usually have a piece of paper or little sign above their cameras saying you are being recorded in case any occurrences happen during your ride.

You can have every warning sign up, have a person sign every waiver, and acknowledge every release, but sadly if the other party wants to sue, they will be able to sue.

As for the Sens, poop talking bosses and co-workers happen all day every day, but the real concern is the lack of care they have in competing and ultimately the teams success. Not to mention what kind of toxicity the attitude of the veterans will do the younger generation that were in their presence.

that probably refers to the act of recording....plus, it's not an Uber camera, it's the driver who chose to put it in his car (not all uber's have cameras).....the one person knowing can't be the person recording

only one person has to give consent. big difference. Arizona law is based on the expectation of privacy. if the players were not made aware that were going to be recorded there is an issue.
