I wish I knew what tanner is on. The islanders are not as bad as everyone thinks and this whole corsi system is stupid. They didn’t have it years ago and all that mattered was wins. It’s the same today. All that matters is wins and so far the islanders have done that

I beg to differ for a few reasons 1) working with what was inherited, trotz and Lou have made good use. 2) Barzal hasn’t caught fire yet and when he does we all know what that brings to this team. 3) goaltending has been much better as well as bottom six. Always Believe it’s early yet !!

Look man, I can't recall interacting with a single Islanders fan, ever, in my entire life. I just tell you what I see - I get it's your team and you won't like it. But you can't just assume its a personal attack, in fact the team is actually terrible. I hope I'm wrong and you enjoy a fun season.

Is there anything better then people who have zero clue or knowledge about a franchise, it's roster, its coaching staff, its front office, etc giving their expert opinion on how bad a team is going to be. Better yet, 4 weeks later when the team is playing good, they need to double down on their predictions

I've caught a couple of Isles games this year... I dunno. They kinda pass the eye-test.

Not saying they're getting anything more than a wild card and a first round exit... but they really aren't as bad as the Hockey Hipster makes them out to be.

I don't know that any team getting outshot and outchanced by a wide margin is playing good so much as they're playing with fire.

Tanner sounds like Jim Acosta of CNN . . . a complete non-entity . . . or to put it into the terms of my middle school science teacher . . . he's the definition of Matter . . . has weight and takes up space . . .
