I've never played hockey but how the (frank) does Malkin take a penalty on a dude skating into him? Should have been a diving call in my eyes.

To answer your question, I wouldn't mind seeing McCauley taking a stick upside the head.

I could see a two minute minor. He did raise his arm....I guess?

What a terrible call. Malkin never even threw a check. Oshie skated right into him head first.

Wow, what a whiny snarky article.

Games fast and exciting. Need a good depth goal. Reese maybe.

I kinda like GMJR calling out the secondary scoring and bottom players.

Pens have looked inspired tonight.

That Malkin hit was pretty careless but definitely not intended. He wasn't even looking. I really think he thought they were gonna hit shoulders there.

Oshie skated right into him. I mean, it's not like it was blindside at all. He lifted his arm a little, but I think he was just trying to provide a little interference as he was dishing it to the guy on the boards. Then Oshie face plants himself right into his arm. Malkin never altered his path at all.

I don't have any complaints about the game. Holtby stole it.....it happens. The Pens played hard. The officiating was pretty one sided other than the obvious miss on Maatta. I keep DeSmith until he has a crap game. I've lost faith in Murray at the moment.

100% on everything you said. Definitely give Desmith the nod over Murray. I'm also a fan of Reese.

It sucks they couldn't get at least one point. They played a solid road game then lost it with an icing and a breakdown. At least they had a really good effort. Still stinks though.

100%
DeSmith has been good all year and if they're gonna play harder for him then so be it.
Pens played a good game but the passive stick waving has got to stop.

Someone take the body and then get the puck back. Letting skilled players skate in while they back up waving their sticks is infuriating. If JO pressures Carlson quickly that goal doesn't happen

Why can't this team listen to a coach for more than 3 years?

Edit: Not trolling, it's just weird that they seem to tune the coach out after ~3 years.

Blaming baby boomers for the worlds ills, Ryan? Typical snowflake with no clue! Not one of the posters even acknowledged your piece, ya jabrone. They were talking about the game. Speaks volumes about your relevance.

Yes. Oleksiak is pissing me off. Dude is playing like he thinks he's Erik Karlsson. Throw a hit occasionally and take the body more. I've never seen a guy that big play so passively.

Right! I’m not exactly an old fashioned hit summmmbudy type guy, but Jesus. I don’t know if he’s trying to overcompensate for the lack of Schultz out there, but he definitely seems to be forcing the skill game at the expense of using his size

Why do we get saddled with a pos blogger that spends all our time telling us how he would be a far superior gm for our team. I'm rather tired of this bs. We don't give a damn about ur poope anymore. You won't work for the NHL ever. That ship has sailed for you bro. Maybe just stick to talking about the games and news around the team. Not a single one of the ppl that comment on this board give a flying (frank) about your articles. It's rather sad that one has to go to DK to get even a little non smarmy reporting on the penguins.
