There's this guy named Maximum Domi who has 9 goals in 15 games, the 4 people in the crowd in AZ would probably appreciate that kinda touch around the net

Kuemper stopped the stoppable pucks last game against the Flyers. Maybe this game if he doesn't get run over by his own players he can stop more pucks.

I enjoy watching the Coyotes. Hopefully Raanta makes it back soon to continue his great start to the season.

And he was traded for a way better player in a trade unanimously considered a steal for the Coyotes.

Last year, Raanta missed close to half a year, and the Coyotes were unable to fill the void. This year, they've at least got a capable back-up in Darcey Kuemper, but he's no Raanta.

In the summer in a blog you wrote you stated Kuemper was one of the best back up goalies in the league. Now he is just capable? What happened?

Ruttsy, how can 'ya know what Mr. Tanner wrote in summer?

But to answer your question, Darcy's SV of currently .936% is slightly under the .940%-best threshold... and as he already got two early tonight, he will likely stay there.

At some point you just have to accept the fact that Raanta can’t handle being a workhorse starter. Play him 45-50 games to keep him healthy

He’s got the durability of Neuvirth

I think he is one of the better backups in the NHL - I don't see how this was contradictory.

Bandwagon fallacy, if everyone jumped off a bridge, would you jump too?

To be fair I also thought it was steal for the Yotes, Domi has been very surprising. I wouldn't have thought he'd be where he is at this point in the season, especially after that Ekblad thing.

It has to suck being a blogger for a team for which the only readers of your blog are trolls from other teams.

There's 31 teams, strange this blog has the most trolls....maybe it's exactly what's needed to keep this team blog alive? It certainly seems the writer thinks so.

I'm just guessing, but I think there would only be 3 or 4 comments if it was just Yotes fans that came in here, wouldn't even be worth taking the time to write about them.

Only in Tanner's world is a player that has 9 goals and 19 points in 16 games being traded for a player that has 2 goals and 6 points in 7 games considered a steal......

Do you not know how to read? Commenters are not trolls, the blogger is. Commentors come to bash the blogger for saying stupid things like Chucky for Domi is a steal when Domi has a better point per game ratio than Chucky

This team is so cold right now. 2 game losing streak, that's all that matters.

I actually disagree that he's still trolling for trolls. That was definitely his M.O. through last season, but this year he's been trying to be a more serious blogger and I give him credit for that.

Keep in mind one player was injured and one player is playing at a level heretofore unnattained. It would be extremely foolish to change my mind based on ten percent of one season.

Let's not forget Domi scored 4 times last year into a non-empty net. That still holds more weight than one single hot streak.

The fact is that if you tell someone what they want to hear and if you don't you're a troll to that person. We live in a world where it is acceptable to call someone who you disagree with an idiot, but that doesn't accept changing your mind, learning from someone else or taking in new information.
