She was looking at an 8 y/o Flat Coat mix whose owner got sick, she doesn't want the hassle of a puppy right now, our last flat coat was 2 y/o and was a great dog. I doubt she's up for it, at least she is entertaining the idea and I'd be fine with an older dog.
