Last year the reason was injuries, I think your wish of the Tocchett firing could come true....but I think the GM is a little brighter and will at least give him another 10-20 games...seems the sample sizes are getting smaller and smaller in here.

Mr. Tanner, you have "copied" the penalties joke i posted two days ago: https://www.hockeybuzz.co...id=155802&page=8#19207275 My attorney will get in contact with you, letting you drop to your knees, which seems to be one of your prefered positions anyways.

Why is "copied" in quotations marks? How can you possibly not be embarrassed about how bad that second joke is? You are the worst. Believe me, if I even thought for one second you'd already made the same joke, I would never have done it.

Christian Fischer is a great player, I don't get the hate. Next to an above average shot he also has great possession numbers

Tanner doesn't like that he scored too many goals one single game

Wow the Yotes sure were "powerfully" unlucky tonight. Lose 4-0 and had like 39 shots and over 60 shot attempts. Corsi says they should have won that game, what happened to the "best back up in the league" tonight?
Meanwhile in Montreal where the Habs got totally fleeced on the Domi deal, they win and Domi get a couple more points to add to his already impressive total.

Here’s a question for you tanner.. why do ppl prefer ca/cf % over actual shots against? Like, if a defence man is really good at boxing out players and they are always firing it off shin pads they may still have a poor corsi while keeping shots low. It also seems that certain team strategies, ie the GD dump and chase, means certain players on teams will have lower possession too. I don’t know. Gotta be some better advanced stats.

Sidebar. Sparks sucks.

Pretty sure CA/CF are to be used over a long period of time...not every shift like some like to use in here.

The coyotes are the coldest team in the league right now. 3 game losing streak, that’s all that matters. Sad!

Just because I don't think someone should play ahead of the most talented offensive player in the organization doesn't mean I hate him. Jesus.

It's because this is an impossible thing to do in the NHL. Fact is, one goal is going in on every 12 shot attempts over the course of time. Teams that try to allow long shots and limit close in shots lose a lot. This is known un-affectionately as the Randy Carlyle strategy and it's made fun of by almost everyone. It just doesn't work.

If you "allow" teams to take long shots they'll just get lucky bounces. It doesn't work. The best defense is to have the puck and get it the hell out of your own zone.
