Sprong wouldn't be my first choice... certainly keep it on the table but explore what other teams have to offer w/ a deep draft history |

Trading anything of value to Pittsburgh would make me vomit.
We could give them mumps, but Crosby already has them, how about Smallpox?? |

Couldn't agree more, but it's all business. Hags as salary dump makes sense, but we don't need him. Sprong and a first along with Hags for Zucc makes sense.
Funny how Zucc would love to be reunited with Hags, but that is the proposed trade.
Nevermind, Zucc would look horrible in yellow, he should stay in Ranger Blue. |

While this league has a rich tradition to heavily overpay for UFA's (and be highly disappointed afterwards), i wouldn't make this deal (or only when you bundle rrentz joining the Pens fanbase!), especially as our 1st could be a lottery pick this year as well. |

You guys already got your lotto pick in Crosby who should have been ours lol.
We have not had one in 53 years so let us be |

My rationality goes right out the window with this scenario. The specter of my Zook in a Penguins sweater, playing alongside Cindy, makes me violently ill. |

Yes, I know. My view on this has been well documented but I can’t ignore the potential facts here, as distasteful as that may be |

the Rangers shouldn't be in the business of signing a 31 year old to an extension right now no matter how beloved he is and should trade him to the team that offers the most in return no matter who it is

It will suck to see Zuke go, but it makes sense from his and the teams perspective. Give him a chance to win a cup, no matter who the team is. Little guy who rarely took a day off and overcame a pretty devastating injury. Whoever he gets traded to I will be rooting for him to get a cup. |

Definitely. IF Zucc gets traded, I hope it's to a real contender that has a legitimate shot at the Cup, not like Nash to the Bruins. Then I'll have a rooting interest in the finals. Better be a solid return. |
