I’m guessing this is more about saving cap space the next couple of years but there needed to be a pick coming back. I doubt Hagelin comes back next year, so basically Kings just gave Pearson away for nothing.

I was hoping for at least a 3rd to come back for Pearson in any trade.

That's gotta be what this is about. Especially if they try and trade Martinez or Muzzin it's gonna be to restock a bit but also clear cap space to help build better overall depth on the team

This guy has had 2 40+ point seasons prior to this year. Hagelin has never had a 40 point season. Both are having down years but Tanner's upside is better and he is younger.
