Egads! Shelteryourkin (This was a stretch and most certainly terrible. I offer no apologies)

Why do you think he won't come over? I always figured he'd be here at some point.

- eichiefs9

I think he's one of those guys that truly believes in the propaganda. Guys like Shesterkin, Gusev and Kaprizov all should be here.

At least Marchand is actually good at hockey. I don't like him but his talent is still good for the league. Also, most of the time, his stupid actions don't seriously injure anyone. Not defending him really, but I don't think he's Tom Wilson/Matt Cooke-bad.

Gudas is knuckledragging trash.

Marchand has made some very dangerous plays, just not usually by way of a hit. He usually submarines or slew foots players

Oh man. Watching Tom Wilson get laid out by Reaves was just the thing i needed to see this morning. There's maybe 2 or 3 players in the league that I have no sympathy for in that situation and he is one of them

Should be no supplemental discipline, just like the hit Wilson delivered to Seney.

I will say that Wilson hit his head really hard on the ice after his helmet flew off, and I do not wish permanent damage upon him. That being said you gotta tighten that chin strap.

Like I said, I'm not defending him or anything. Just saying that, historically-speaking, he hasn't caused the types of injuries that some of these other trash humans have.

Yeah it seems like there's always going to be that sect of Russian players that are 100% Motherland-or-bust. I never really got a strong feeling that he'd be part of them, but I also don't follow him that closely.

This is the last year of his 3 year extension, I think. He signed it 9/1/16. So if he signs another deal with SKA, you just have to feel he's never coming over.

Edit: It's why I think the Rangers reached last year for Lindbom. Cause with Lindbom they have Lundqvist, Georgiev, Huska, Lindbom, Wall and Halverson. (At this point I expect Halverson to never see the light of day in the NHL.)

Most players and coaches think Igor will come over. Hope that is true

They've made that pick a lot. Since drafting Lundqvist they've had...

Dan Blackburn
Chris Holt
Al Montoya
Antoine LaFleur
Scott Stajcer
Mackenzie Skapski

Unkowns in:
Shesterkin
Halverson
Huska
Wall
Lindbom

since drafting Stepan in 2nd round in 2008 they have been atrocious in 2nd rounds, either traded it or made mind boggling bad picks

My boy.

Hopefully he and Adam Fox's buddy Luke Martin are enough to convince Fox to sign in Raleigh. Kid is way too good for NCAA at this point.

Allegedly that's part of why Calgary decided to trade him. It sounds like he had no interest in signing in Canada.

If the Canes can get him under contract, though, that would be a coup for them I think. Kid is way better than I thought.

if they were able to acquire Parayko for a package based around Skjei, it would make sense for the Rangers because they are loaded with lefty defensemen prospects

would it make sense for the Blues though is the question

Whispers I hear is one of Andersson/Chytil/Howden along with Skjei and a first rounder is the ask. Parayko hasn’t taken that step forward offensively that was expected. With Alex Pietrangelo out several weeks, Parayko and Vince Dunn will get the chance to fill that offensive void. I am huge Parayko fun, but have to admit, been a bit disappointed in his progression.

That trade makes no sense for the Rangers...I hope they just move on
