No, He has been injured all season. When he did play he has been terrible. He has had one good season, last year was okay not great.
My guess he goes for conditional picks.maybe a second in 2020 and third in 2019. If he plays certain amount of games and has GAA or Save % below x amount. If doesnt meet condition then they drop to 3rd and 4th. |

I'd give Howard + for him |

Flames trade Tyler Parsons and a 2nd for Murray. Then move Smith somewhere (Philly). Roll with Murray and Rittich! GFG! |

Goalies are usually traded for under their perceived value. Seems the most teams usually give up is a first rounder. |

Something with Murray to LA, and Quick to Pittsburgh....
Other players added to make it cap compliant
I can see that happening. |

You get no arguement from me on all of what you said. My point is from the Pens prespective they need to stick to their guns and wait out a trade to try and get better value then what it might be now. He, despite play and injury, is the Pens number one. They chose him over MAF for more reasons then need be discussed. I can’t see him being moved.
Then again two Cups...
That said...how about to Anaheim for Gibson + for Maatta and Murray? |

Zero chance Anaheim trades Gibson for anything. Hes just to good to move for a dman that Pens fans dont want and have been begging to be in all trades since last year and a goalie who nvr plays and when he does. He plays like crap. |

Trading the best goalie in the league for two scrubs you don't want. And then you want more then gibson? You sound like a leaf fan with this trade. Also ducks dont need dman they need forwards and will never trade Gibson. |

I've been lobbying since last year to package Parayko (or Pietrangelo) with a forward in a deal for Draisatl and Nurse. That idea never got much traction. So the recent hubbub about Parayko being "available" has caught my attention.
There may indeed have been some talk of dealing Parayko as recently as last week. The team clearly needs a shakeup, and such a move would definitely send a message. Personally, I would have dealt Pietrangelo first, as the statement would be more dramatic, and what the team needs more than anything is a change in leadership.
But Petro is hurt, and that ship has sailed. And with Petro out, I guarantee you there is ZERO chance Parayko gets dealt before Petro returns from IR. Won't happen. Not even Doug Armstrong is that dumb. If he did, it would be a race between ownership and fans to see who would run him out of town quicker, regardless of the return.
I like EK, he's entertaining. I don't know if he is being fed a line of BS, or if he's just trying to stir the pot and be provocative, but this rumor does not help his already dubious credibility. If you're going to make stuff up and throw it at the wall to see if it sticks, at least make it plausible.
At this point, as much as I would like to see a move, with all the injuries I don't see who the Blues can afford to deal. |
