My point is from the Pens prespective they need to stick to their guns and wait out a trade to try and get better value then what it might be now. He, despite play and injury, is the Pens number one. They chose him over MAF for more reasons then need be discussed. I can’t see him being moved.

Between 2016 to present Gibson has the best save percentage in the league for goalies who played more 50 games. So yes arguably the best goalie in the league and signed to reasonable cap hit for a long time.
