Armstrong is known for making hockey trades. He isn't bashful about trading players with value (see Erik Johnson for Kevin Shattenkirk and Chris Stewart.

IMHO, Parayko isn't getting traded for a 1st round draft pick unless it's at the draft and it's for a top pick. IMHO, Parayko isn't likely to get traded now unless it is part of a big deal that brings a good NHL d-man back.

When Grabner got hit by a high stick the other night, and neither ref saw it, they huddled up with the linesmen and talked to make sure they got the right call. Why is it they never bother checking with the other 3 officials when taking a goal away from a team and instead giving them a penalty? That's a pretty massive swing to make, and the reaction of everyone who watched the replay means the ref knows he totally screwed the pooch on the call just like it was obvious when you saw Grabner's eye. Why do they only care about getting the call right sometimes?

I’ll take the 2 points, but the Blues should have won the game. Your 3rd goal should never have been disallowed.

Right Parayko either proves his value or you move him.

There are massive holes in his game. I've seen this happen with several young talented dmen. They start out playing the game quick. Overtime they get comfortable and they take more time with the puck.

Parayko has the ability to make a quick, good first pass. This year he either flubs the pass or delays and in both cases the result is bad. This is not always. Hitchcock is correct about him attacking. When he holds the puck he needs to go from zone to zone and attack the net.while he has a great shot it doesn't matter if he breaks sticks or gets it blocked.

So to me he either starts looking more like burns or catch some value before the potential aspect of his value meets reality.
