Yup, no one could physically dominate a game the way Lindros did in his prime. Orr, Gretzky and Lemieux could take over and win games with superhuman play, but not physically dominate the way the big guy did. You could see the fear on Dmen’s faces when the puck went in their corner and they knew Lindros was right on their tail.
The only time in pro sports when I’ve seen that kind of fear in an athlete’s eyes was in some of Mike Tyson’s early opponents - BiggE
Forget what year it was but Tampa Bay was playing the flyers in the playoffs and got dominated in the first. The coach for Tampa was reported to have told his team to stop standing around watching Eric play. He was a man on a mission.

It was the first round in 96. The Bolts tried to counter Lindros through cheap shots and dirty hits. Late in game 6, with the series clinched, Lindros first leveled Michel Petit than he just kicked the crap out of Igor Ulanov who had been the Bolts dirtiest player. I thought Lindros was actually gonna kill him.

Stolie showing some great flashes in net. Really like this kid. - hereticpride
Stollie looked pretty good a couple years ago, but that injury last year just put him a bit behind. He was ahead of Lyon on the depth chart until that injury that allowed Lyon to get called up last year.

Which is even more impressive to me. Kudos to Hextall for hanging on to him throughout the injuries.

His size is great, but the small things have been impressing me like using his stick a lot to cut off passes and clearing pucks out for teammates instead of waiting for them. I wish Elliott was more aggressive.
Lindros fought some tough guys...but lets be honest he picked a lot of fights against players he shouldn't be fighting. - Glak18
In his defense some of them were against guys who were going after him with cheap shots. Plus you really didn’t want Lindros fighting the Proberts and McSorelys of the world. That would not have done the Flyers any favors.
