Kyrou is 2byears younger than nylander and 2 seasons ago nylander was a top winger. Hell he was showing more 3 years ago in the AHL and NHL than kyrou did in the CHL at the same age.
You really think putting him with Matthew's is going to vault him from a 10 point player to a 60 point 1 (which by the way is still less than nylander).
I mean, the leafs have nylander extra time than he needed, and was over a ppg in the AHL before they called him up. And that was still younger than kyrou is now.
Kyrou is a good prospect. But not really in nylanders league. 2 or 3 tiers down.

I'm guessing you just pulled Kyrou being a 10 points scorer in the NHL over a full season out of the air, because Kyrou has played 100 minutes in the NHL getting 8-10 minutes per game on a sheltered 3rd line.
Nylander is a few years ahead of Kyrou in age and development, but there is still no telling where they are at in 3 years.
I'm not sure how this turned into a discussion of "who's the better NHLer" between a player with 3 years NHL experience vs a prospect. Of course Kyrou isn't worth Nylander straight up, but Nylander is not worth Parayko straight up either, let alone adding a prospect.
Also Nylander and Kyrou have very similar stats in the minor leagues, AHL included. Kyrou's stats are slightly lower but he plays on the leagues worst team.
