So far I think he's been really good - it cant be easy coming into a new team, especially when you've been juggled around in TO as much as he was. He must be pumped for the opportunity to play, let alone be given 2 highly skilled guys to play with. He's got some speed/skill and he's good in the corners and that's what those two need, a retrieval guy that helps them cycle and uses his physicality to wins puck battles. Got a rocket of a wrist shot too. Give them another 10 games to see what happens.
In turn - I like Goldy, Bo, Jake - that line needs time as well. I'm not sure if I saw Goldy in the 3rd last night?

They are creating a lot of space but haven’t quite found their chemistry yet imo.

I like it right now. He’s not as smart as Goldy, but he plays a heavier game and is much better on the forecheck/getting pucks back/having a nose for the net. Give it 5 games, see if they keep it up and if Leivo can start to read EP and BB better

I saw Roussel give a nice pass to Virtanen so I assumed Horvat played with Virtanen and Roussel.

Anyone think it was a coincidence that the Canucks won yesterday after all the plus/minus hate that went on during the day? I think not.

I eventually would like to see what Bo Jake and MacEwen look like but until then I would like Roussell Bo and Jake.

Agreed. The funny thing is is that both the Jake and Bo goals were with Roussel, not Goldy

Next game we lose Green will find a way to chuck him in the doghouse. But yet LE will continue in the top 6.

He was robbed by the best goalie in the league last night. That’s how his luck is going. He will find it soon.

Hate to rain on your parade but that's completely false, I believe the Sabres have the best prospect pool in the league because of those picks and with their future picks they used a 2019 2nd, two 3rds 2019/20 (Cliff Pu) and a 2020 6th to acquire a top line player to play with Eichel and he's got 20 goals already this year in 29 games.

Plus they still have two or three first round picks for 2019! Their own and they own both St. Louis's and San Jose's.

Bottom line is they've done more than "absolutely nothing" with their many picks.

"2018 The Athletic - In terms of tiers, it goes Buffalo, then a steep drop to Vancouver in its own tier, St. Louis and Carolina are in a tier, followed by a small drop after the Islanders and another minor drop after Chicago."
