Try to show at least a little enthusiasm, you are scaring off the Houston fanbase.

Galchenyuk got beat up by his girlfriend again, and Raanta Claus is getting ready to go deliver presents to all the children.

When does Chayka get fired?
- TheMussel

Why would he be fired? He took over the worst team in the NHL, they lost the draft lottery ever time, two straight years his team has been decimated by injury and he has the operating budget of half what a normal team does.

On top of that, other than the choice to hire Rick Tocchet maybe, or the questionable deployment of Strome leading up to his trade, it's hard to find any fault with any of his moves.

Tanner, fun fact, Domi is a point per game player and Galchenyuk gets about half a point a game. Tell me again how Galchenyuk is better. I love hearing it.

Coyotes had just finished 4th in their division when Chayka took over, 10th in the West, 9 points out of playoffs. Not the worst team in the league. Under Chayka, they've spent more money and gotten worse results.

Every team has injuries. Some GM's plan for those scenarios well. Chayka hasn't. Most goalies don't go from playing 30 games a year to playing 60 games a year without some injury issues. Most teams play games missing multiple top four defensemen. These are predictable issues the Coyotes are facing, and it's his job to have them prepared for it.

Chayka deserves more time, I don't think he should be fired yet. There is still a decent chance Coyotes are a playoff team within the next 3 years. But he is responsible for the results the Coyotes have had the last couple years, not bad luck.

I'd still give him some leash for sure, but I would think that there comes a point where his performance will be evaluated on their position in the standings regardless of the challenges that the team faces.

Do you have any advanced stats that explain why Arizona is sitting in 25th place ? When they are clearly a playoff calibre team.

Do you think Arizona is going to be moved to another hockey hot bed like Austin Texas ?

This garbage. Apparently you can't read, or are just not smart enough to put a little effort in. The city of Houston owns the arena. They have been steadfast, and continue to be, that they have zero desire for a hockey team. Sorry, but GB is not going to leave the 5th largest city in the US for Houston (yes, I know it's bigger) when their own government doesn't want hockey (per Bob McKenzie so when he talks I tend to listen), Quebec (sorry my neighbors to the north, but with the canadian dollar not being worth nearly what our is, it's not going to happen though I was a Nordiques fan when they were there), or any other city.

GB has fought too hard and too long to just up and leave Phoenix. Well, at least this Coyote fan hopes but it won't be for Houston that's for sure...

GM John Chayka has denied the rumour that the remaining Coyotes will live in hyperbolic chambers between games from now on.
- James Tanner

I think you mean hyperbaric.

I feel like you live in a "hyperbolic" chamber at times. Like the whole "Leafs will win multiple championships" thing.

Something needs to be done though. They simply cannot carry on like this much longer.

Debt, attendence, performance, arena location, history. The team has literally nothing going for it

(either upper or lower, I just don't care any more) and may or may not play.
Does it really matter as your lack of understanding of anatomy and physiology and sports medicine makes the nature of the injury completely irrelevant to you.

Didn't most of the losing happen when the team was relatively healthy at the start of the season?

They started the season with a bunch of injuries, and while they didn't get off to a great start, adjusting for games played they were extremely close to the playoffs when their #1 goalie went down.

Just look at that roster.... Whats there to be excited about?

-Injured Raanta ?
-Overpaid (or at lease career being wasted) OEL ?
-Underperforming Stepan?
-Galchenyuk?

Are Chychrun and Keller going to carry this team on their back?

The Present is terrible and the future isn't all that bright considering most other teams have a couple of good players they can hang their hopes on

Chayka's sitting at the GM Poker table trying to figure out who the sucker is....
