If Chuck Fletcher was to call for Zucker and offered to take Suter's contract (If he'd waive). Would Voracek and MacDonald (a less bad contract term) be a start?

Suter is still one of the best defensive d men in the league and he’s still playing well considering coming off a pretty tough injury. Zucker is one of the best scorers for the Wild and is the fastest forward on the roster. Don’t see how that trade makes sense in the least. Suters contract not withstanding.

Hoping BB keeps the parise coyle nino line intact when koivu comes back. I find it interesting that the wild put up 12 goals in the 2 games koivu is out. Im sure koivu will get his way when he comes back, but i'd love to see these top 2 lines left alone and have koivu play with greenway and JEE/kunin when he comes back.

Well let's face it, the only thing the Wild really miss without Koivu in the line up is his face off skill. He's to big of a liability in the offensive zone because he's so bloody slow.

I've always been a huge Mikko fan, but it's time to put him down to the bottom 6. This is the perfect opportunity and excuse for Boudreau to make the move so he can keep the top two lines as is.

Just remember everyone, this is only 2 games so far. If this keeps up for another 3 games, then it should be locked in. And if BB does make Koivu the 3C, I would like to see Kunin over JEE on the RW. I just think Kunin has more offensive upside over JEE right now. Either play JEE on 4th line, as he is a very hard worker, or send him to Iowa if the Wild really believe he has top 6 scoring potential. I honestly believe that he is a busted 1st rd pick and will never be more than bottom 6 depth. He has now had the chances to show offense, and it is just not coming through. It kind of funny that Russo wrote on the Athletic that those who have been screaming about Koivu for the last couple of years were going to be in for a big surprise with him out. I know, extremely small sample size, but looks like that surprise is an increase in offense for the Wild.

And the real good news is it looks like Dubnyk has played through his break in confidence and appears to be back to DOOOOOOOOBSSSS.
