I get what you're saying, but do NHL players always need someone to develop a highly detailed strategy for the PP? It ain't rocket science... Execution and confidence are on the players' shoulders.

PK coach is useful. PP is dumb because you can't teach skill/scoring

What can a pp coach do? 2-3 or 1-3-1. You stand infront of the goalie

It's a very poopty game for the habs, I agree. Usually they're a bit more cohesive against the broons.

Thing is rush/speed teams do worse because guys are asked to stand still and pass the puck around. Never slow down the game with the puck. Also it is too easy to PK now. Box the team into low scoring areas and hope to get the puck and dump it.

The over coaching of non skill kills natural talent.
