Nice write up Jammer.

Bothers me that they aren't at least working Fabbri into the fourth line. He showed hard work when most of the team looked apathetic.

Ir'll be interesting to see if the Blues can find a way to build in this game win or lose. To me if they get down or quit during this game you have to feel concerned. Then there is no doubt there's an issue in the room that must be addressed. If that's the case they better figure out who it is and how to fix it, including addition by subtraction.

Personally, I think this would be a game to start Binnington. Here's why: get the players concerned and detail oriented against a good offensive team. I think this team is starting to lose its fragility.

Crash!

Not a bad idea to give Binnington this game though...especially in hindsight.

Foregone conclusion Steener takes a seat upstairs while Fabbri gets a game vs. Rangers?

Got to be. If not then there is a whole other set of questions to start asking.

Watching this team is like listening to Hank, they make me want to drink

They got a bad result but did not seem to quit.

The officiating does not help.

Maybe Petro needs to go? At this point it's clear someone needs to be moved. I'm not a fan of Tarasenko making nearly twice as much as Perron and Perron taking all that flak meanwhile he is outscoring Tarasenko.

Is it just a coincidence that the captain comes back and they play like that?

Has anyone gotten to see Klim Kostin play this season or have any info on him? Looks like his stats are roughly on par with where he was last year.

What's up with our PK? I think that's 5 PPs in a row we've been scored on.

I was an adamant no on trading Tarasenko a month ago. Now I think something needs to be done. We lacked a truly elite goal scorer for many years before he emerged. Part of me still thinks it will be a shame to see him go.

I love Schenn but if the season becomes truly lost I would consider dealing him. He has one more season until UFA where he will be looking to get paid. His value is currently high as he offers more than a rental.

Gotta say it seems more and more likely that Schenn and Schwartz will be gone before the end of the year. Wondering if the Blues hold on to Vladi for name and marketing alone, maybe try to make a deal for a comrade Russian...

With regard to Petro, I still wonder how the birth of his kids is affecting his game. Triplets is a huge deal...

Watched the WJ game against CZE, he was really forcing plays, ie bad passes and trying to skate through everyone. Talked to my buddy and he said he's doing the same thing in SA. But he's not going to be called up anyway this year, if he doesn't play in the NHL this year, he will be exempt from the expansion draft.
