So the only team that won 19 straight playoff series is number 5? SMH.

Most posters weren’t alive when Montreal was winning all those cups. Like the Habs or not, they were the best.

Shake your head all you want dummy, the list is not just about a teams glory years, it’s an ALL TIME ROSTER list, encompassing a franchises entire history.

The only thing that really stood out at me was NJ being so high. I would have them down further, and I would probably have Buffalo a little higher. Buffalo with Lafontaine, Mogilny, Perrault, Hawerchuk, Robert, Brierre, Turgeon, Gare, Andeychuk, Martin, Eichel, Hasek, Housley, Vanela, Satan, Dahlin, and Ramsey would make a pretty decent team.

I won,t even get into the hideous exclusion of Bobby Orr and just stick to the Islanders. The sixth player should absolutely be Stefan Persson not Kenny or Tomas Jonson or Ken Morrow. He is a significantly better player.

How Pit isn't #1 is a travesty. They have TWO generational talents and TWO borderlines in Malkin and Jagr.

But what else does Pittsburgh have? It isn’t pretty. Unless you get extra points for being a whiny female dog, then Crosby counts as two players

Montreal #1 and Toronto #2 All-Time ... that list is brutal and clearly skewed to modern era hockey.

There's like 11 teams that have won the cup

Bad argument

Entire list is invalidated based on stuff like Pronger counting for the Oilers but Gretzky doesn't count for the Blues. There is no standard of what makes a player count for a team, beyond a player having to come to Eklund's mind in the couple seconds he spends thinking about a team.

3rd is not bad considering you didn’t use their top players like you did for the other teams.

Yeah, I’d prolly put Buffalo where Philly is, put Philly where NJ is, and move NJ back to Buffalo’s spot

I'd like to see Edmonton's All Time full roster

The forwards get pretty average after Gretzky, Messier, McDavid, Hall, Kurri and Anderson - Gets into Doug Weight/Ryan Smyth territory real fast

No real notables on D beyond Coffey and Pronger

They can't roll out 18 like Pittsburgh can
