I’ll watch tonight’s game because I’m a Flyers fan, but it’s hard to work up any enthusiasm to do so.
Sad. |

Yeah. I feel you BiggE. I'll watch because I am a fan. But i am on the lose for Hughes train now. Try to get into top 3 of the draft. Try to turn Simmonds and some others into possibly young roster players or high picks if possible. Maybe make a shrewd deal that moves Voracek at the draft to reshape the roster.

Haven't seen much but highlight reels of the top prospects before the draft. So far hes my favorite top 5 project pick. I've seen him as high as 2 and as low as 5 |

I worry about some parts of Hughes game translating to the NHL. I worry especially with the state of this franchise they might lose it if another top pick doesnt immediately contribute. Some say he's kane 2.0 but I dont think hes thst good and definitely doesnt have as quality of a shot.
Kaapo hasn't overly impressed me hes just been solid. Podkolzin really has. Massive size. Aggresive style. Great play maker. Dach and cozens arent playing for whatever reason Canada bs. |

Losing is a disease.
As contagious as syphilis.
Attacking one, but infecting all.
But curable.
Now, I want you to imagine that you're on a ship at sea, on a vast ocean.

I like that comparison. But how would Philadelphia react to finally getting the 1 pick and getting a guy who might not play in the NHL for a year ? |

Hughes better gain some weight. I like Kakko,Dach, and Cozens. |

Did he bench frost? I thought I saw him out there. Probably should have taken that penalty shot though.

Yeah. They're almost unwatchable right now. It's really sad that here we are in early January and it seems we're out of it. |

I think the fans would react better than when they got the 2nd pick in the lottery despite having the worst record, saw him not play in the NHL for two years, and then watched him get traded for Luke Schenn after three seaons of inconsistent but promising play in the NHL, a couple of years after the 1st pick scored the Cup winning goal on Philly's ice. |

They are out of it, but Fletcher still hasn't promoted a single skater prospect from the AHL. I really don't know what he's waiting for. |
