Stay the course. Extend Lee and target the two mentioned in Free Agency.

I would not give up a lot for Panarin or Duchene when they can walk.

stay the course.....sign lee and nelson get what you can for eberle, ladd(no trade clause) and add in either pelech or aho in the package for a #2 -3 center target panarin after the season.

Grab Panarin as long as he will sign. Sign Lee, Trade Eberle and Nelson. Once Ladd and Clutterbuck are gone as well, we will be in a good spot since it seems our kids will finally develop properly.

Dude no.

Eberle's contract is expiring and he's already getting paid 6 mill. Oilers aren't playoff bound and thus have no need of a rental winger, nor can they afford to give him a raise next year.

Pelech (frank)ing sucks. Absolute garbage. Bottom pairing D AT BEST.

Aho has potential though. I'll give you that.

Take a run at both. Honestly either would be a welcome addition to the team. Duchene being a center with a good face-off % is something they could use. but again either would be a nice addition.

Stay the course and keep the team intact. So many good kids in the system and great coaching.

You go for one of them and it doesn't work out in the Po's then the team takes a step back.

If this is any indication of just how bad Thomas Hickey is then I don’t know what else you want. I don’t know what else you want. The defense has never looked better since removing that eyesore from lineup. The isles should be looking to move hickey when he’s healthy if that’s even an option. Toews should be up for good. Kid can flat out play.

no way eberle is going to get 6 mil again. he could slide right in on dria wing and put up 25 g 30 ast. aho would fall into 3-4 spot on D and you get a pick

If they were to get both guys, especially without having to give up any assets that would be amazing for their franchise. Would likely be a top team in the Metro.

Might need to also add Sekera as a throw in to get the conversation going.

You aren't winning the cup this year, so just wait for free agency frenzy!!!! Bobrovsky, Pavelski, Stone, Panarin, Karlsson all up for grabs.

If Lou does go after Panarin or Duchene, either way it must be with guarantee they will sign long term with us.

Can anyone weigh-in on the chances/likelihood Ilya Sorokin signs with the NYI next season of at all?

According to Russian Twitter, not a chance.
Islanders world sounds like they're hopeful this summer.
