You are such an idiot.

Not first win in a year, first win of the year....SMH

I am pretty sure Arizona has not lost every game they have played this season so far.

No kidding. Didn't he retire a few years ago?
Arizona does have Richardson though.

Really? I'm pretty sure it's been an entire year.

If you don't get that Brad Richard's son refers to Richardson... I thought it was quite funny.

I really want to like you James Tanner, but you really are an idiot. For a writer, your grammar is atrocious, and some of the things you say are clearly bone-headed.

Please explain to me what an ENTIRE year is... Regardless of your explanation, it is the time it takes for Earth, a planet you are obviously not from, to orbit the Sun, or approx. 365 days... The Yotes have not won in 365 days? Give your head a shake.

I don't think you're quite smart enough for the Internet.

They really need to fire their entire training staff. Not only do all their players get injured, they get re-injured.

It's semantics. They haven't won the entire year. The year is only 6 days old.

Every year terrible teams outplay their stats and every year people overrate the teams doing it, until they inevitably fall back to earth. Enjoy the hot run while you can, the Islanders are brutal.

An entire year is how long it feels like it takes me to make it through the comments section of this blog.

No. The correct statement would be, ‘They have not won this year.’

Tanner puts little effort into his blog. I realize this isn’t the New York Times, but his grammar and syntax is laughable for a ‘journalist’.

Like I said, it is not incorrect grammar. It says exactly what I want it to say. In Canada we call it a joke. I would spend less time correcting people on the internet and more time with Monty Python if I was you.

the only thing that is brutal are your takes on a team you don't watch

I see quite a bit of the Islanders actually. I'm not sure why some random guys take on a team bugs you so much. I totally get that you want to cheer for your team, but objectively they aren't a good team.

They are the seventh worst possession team.

They are 28th in shots for per 60.

21st in shots allowed per 60.

They are third in the NHL in PDO.

But hey, if you think they are a good team, they must be right? You wouldn't be biased because they're your favorite or anything?

Like I said, every year there are teams that defy analytics to put up a decent record. It's fun while it lasts, but inevitably the GMs of these teams overrate what they have and it screws them up in the long term.

I hope it lasts and that the Islanders have a good season that their fans enjoy. God knows they've been screwed over enough.
