I would go with Niemi, he's likely to play one of the 2 games anyway

I’m of the opinion Josi is far better than Subban and PK’s Norris nomination last season was laughable

And you also claim to want the storyline to die by writing a entire blog about it in an attempt to re-spark the debate?

I normally agree with a lot of the stuff you write Brandon but Subban got 59 points just last season saying he failled to reach his best career season is a very thin argument. As for struggling to stay healthy, Subban has missed what 32 or 33 games with Nashville? Whilst Shea missed over 80 with us.

There is no need to crown a winner of the trade and you are right that the debate should end but the fact is that Subban hadnt reached his ceiling when MB traded him and he’s grown into a more complete and reliable player. He didnt play much Saturday as he’s come back from injury not long ago. The fact is that Nasville has got one of the best blue line in the NHL and Josi is a veteran and captain on the team, its only fair that hes on the first pairing that doesnt mean PK is no good.

Tbh i prefer the fast paced Subban style of play especially now that he is more defensively sound but that doesnt mean that I cannot appreciate what Weber brings to the Habs and his strenghts.

Speaking of thin arguments, that was is sixth games since coming back, so to me there is something to read into a 9M defenseman playing only 14:45 !!!

I agree with you Brandon, Weber is a beast man & changes the whole complexity of the Canadiens, obviously Subban is a good player, but when all is added up, I would take Weber!

Prefering Weber over Subban is fine, but your evaluation of Subban is way off.

Interesting

He's really not. He's just not in game shape yet. He has 2 giveaways in 6 games, which is nothing compared to the rest of his teammates.
