I get your view. But after sticking to this for a bit we don’t need to roll the dice on investments, the money is always there, easy to access in savings for whatever we want to do. We have much more control of real money this way, no hoping or guessing.

That's a very old school way of thinking. While you do need to know the market and actively manage your investment (granted, something not everyone is willing to do) you can make your fortune by doing it. Remember the old saying - it wasn't the guy who invented cash that got rich, it was the guy who invented interest. |
