I have always liked the look of Paul's game and wonder why he was not been groomed with a view to his becoming a strong third line centre.

He was a great scorer in junior and maybe people put too much emphasis on his needing to score in order to contribute.

Pageau was a great scorer in junior. But, it is his work ethic, defensive play and penalty killing that has earned him NHL minutes.

It seems like this is a pretty common issue with Boucher and younger players? What is that guy still doing behind the bench in Ottawa? Did that one season of absolutely next level play by Erik Karlsson, which got them to the conference finals, give Boucher a free pass on coaching ever since?

From an outsiders perspective it seems like they should have moved on by now.

the guy who's 2nd or 3rd in the league in rookie scoring, and who is probably the most "complete" rookie forward in the league............and you want to send him to the AHL?

come on man, that's ridiculous

Boucher's fatal flaws include an excessive loyalty to players/assistant coaches with whom he has an extended history and an inability to properly adjust in game or even in season to repeated mistakes/incompetence.
Boucher's replacement is Troy Mann who was hired to coach Belleville and is on contract through this season and next. Troy Mann has an excellent record of developing players in the Washington Capitals organization. I believe that the organization was hoping to delay the replacement of Boucher and company till the end of the season. That could change if he is unable to get better results soon.

I agree, 13 points in his first 13 games but only 4 points in the next 18. Needs to go to Belleville and learn to score more

He's still getting tons of chances but he's been snake bitten. He's one of the four best forwards on the team

Duchene is healthy scratch for tonight's game. He is not making road trip. Staying home on maternity watch.

Perhaps a deal is close?

or perhaps he's at home on maternity watch as reported. Even Pierre Dorion can't possibly believe he already has the best offer he'll get for Duchene. Dorion will wait another 3-4 weeks before screwing this up.

Thatz the sympton. He is out of gas at this level. The Sens have to be careful with their future star who is currently struggling on a bad team. What is he learning right now? Even E.K was sent down .....turned out pretty goid.

That is a lazy argument. Just because Karlsson went down, doesn't mean every player has to. He only looks "out of gas" because he's been unlucky. He has nothing to prove at a lower level

Actually just saying NO is the lazy arvuement and very weak. As well as waiting for a opinion on why just to spit out why your counter answer is superior.. lol thats lazy.and thats what you were waiting for.lol
How many Sens games have you been to? Have you ever been to ottawa?
