No one thinks that he will save this season, we'd need to win north of 70% of the remaining games to even have a chance, and that's not gonna happen. Getting Stone would be more of a long term move, guys like that aren't available very often, and you hop on it when you can.

You are 100% correct in that we are not making the playoffs this year. I just want to change the mix of players in some way, and get rid of one of our overvalued players. Voracek fits that description. Call it addition by subtraction. We have a goalie, his name is Carter Hart. He is a piece we can build around.
