Ottawa would be stupid not to re-sign him long term. |

Stone would be stupid to sign with OTT long term. |

That young roster player would be Kapanen. Not johsson. Oh and they’ll want a 19 first - KINGS67
yup but if Stone goes till the end june before he signs then the 2019 1 st is already gone. |

Dylan Larkin for Andrew MacDonald - Glak18
If AMAC gets his Swedish citizenship this trade is possible. |

For either Duchene or Chabot... who would interest you from the Islanders??
edit...For Chabot im sure you're going to try and include Barzal in that deal...but theres no way Lou Lamoriello is going to move him what so ever. - Dedshark
For chabot.....nobody
For duchene.......I’d want Dobson and a conditional 1st (1st if he re-signs and 2nd if he doesn’t) |

M. Stone
vs
VGS 1st round pick
Or something like that |
|
|
|
98% of these offers are (frank)ing ridiculous.
To recap
Ottawa gives up stone, one of the beat wingers in the league
Other teams give up mediocre prospects, mid round picks, and cap dumps

To LA:
Stone
Dzingel
To Ottawa:

Mark Stone is a perennial 20 goal 50 point guy and is a UFA who wants to test free agency and so a pure rental to any team for 2019. He is a solid power forward but he is not one of the best wingers in the league. Unless a team can negotiate a contract extension before the deadline your not going to get much more than a low level first round pick and some mid level prospects for him.

One that may NEVER happen but fun to discuss..
To Ottawa:
Thatcher Demko
Loui Eriksson ( to balance the cap hit)
Jake Virtanen
2019 conditional 2nd rounder if Stone resigns, 3rd rounder if he doesn't
To Vancouver:
Mark Stone
Craig Anderson (goalie insurance for a playoff push, balances Eriksson's contract)
Ryan Dzingel
2019 3rd round pick

Are you seriously offering a guy who you just put on waivers for stone AND Dzingel? |

To recap, people shouldn't be harping on others here for what the perceive to be 'unfriendly' offers. it's PURELY for speculation... i think some people need to relax and get off their armchair over-analiyzations and have some fun |

I would suggest you check his stats again and get back to me.
He had 20 goals and 60 pts last year......in 58 games
This years he’s on pace for about 90 pts
Thanks for coming out |

Here is Eugene Melynk's proposed deals:
Detroit gets Mark Stone.
Ottawa gets Henrik Zetterberg and Johan Franzen
Arizone gets Matt Duchene
Ottawa gets Marian Hossa
Melnyk gets $15M of salary cap use for guys on LTIR that he doesn't have to pay.
Add the almost $10M already going to LTIR players Gaborik and MacArthur and El Cheapo has $25 millioin of his salary cap requirements covered by guys he doesn't have to pay.
He can reach the Cap Floor with a roster loaded up with guys making the league minimum.
