I think 100 pts is very good, but to be elite you need to meet or exceed the top guys in the league.

That wasn't an NHL team with NHL players, NHL competition and NHL trainers.

I'm not excusing him, because he knows what it takes. He had trained the previous year; he knew what to do, or who to get to help him if he wasn't in tip top shape.

His game-level was basically training with a team lower than AHL calibre, so he sure looked good to them. But nowhere near NHL-level. And again, once you have NHL-level athletes in mid-season form, you are so far behind them, it's a big hill to climb. Just about every hold out in history has royally sucked for a prolonged period.

Bottom line: I'm trying to be patient with him, but am not impressed by his performance on or off the ice.

Dubas is in russia looking at a centre. Is he thinking of moving kadri? Last yr 10 centres in the nhl scored 30 goals the leafs have 3 on thier team. Although leafs wont be able to replace him st 4.5 mill. And 4yrs left .it makes him very valuable.if marner and Mathews get more than 22 mil combined and we nedd two solid defense the writing is on the wall.nylander and kadri plus that 1st could bring in those 2 defense. If nylander is involed it wont happen before july 1st
