Why do you guys suck? Stop it, we should be the poop of the metro, not you guys. Such a waste of a roster.

Garbage team with zero entertainment value. It boggles my mind that people show up to the home games.

Rob Zombie should direct a movie about this team! It’d be a true horror fest! What ever happened to the bullies movie he was planning anyway?

Hextall is in charge of it. He's waiting for the actors to mature.

Top pick here we come.

Curious to know where the Flyers next win comes from. They may very well break the ten game losing streak.

This is very exciting for me. I think this hard tank comes at the exact right time IF fletcher can prove he’s the right guy for the job. With a growing pool of young players, an enormous amount of cap room, a budding young goalie. The turnaround will be quick.

Edmonton has a hard time attracting talent. (no one wants to live there) Who was the last big Free Agent to sign there?

Someone probably realized he is a horrible director.

Also he's a Sabres fan. F him.

This year has been a struggle and seems change is inevitable. But if guys like Voracek and Ghost survive not being traded before next season, I think we can expect a bounce back from both players. Two years ago, both players had down years and answered back with having their best career seasons (last year). I think we can also expect Provy to bounce back. It’s getting tiring having this “next year” mentality especially with taking a major step back this season but just having a bounce back year from Ghost, Jake and Provy could have an immediate great impact for us. On top of this, we’ll have more youth pushing for spots which should (hopefully) wake some of these vets up a bit. I know Hexy has been meh with FA signings, but with the ample cap space we have this summer, it will be interesting to see what players Fletcher will chase to compliment the pieces in this puzzling season. One last thought...

Does anyone find it odd how there’s been hardly no mention in the media regarding Simmer’s contract? Idk if it’s just an elephant in the room for the Philly media knowing he’s gone, but most “bigger” guys in the final year of contract (Duchene, Stone, Skinner,) have had some type of report of having discussions or not. Just feel it’s been a little quiet with Simmonds.

A head coach could get fired for losing to the Flyers at this point.

Are we ever going to face a starting goalie again or are we just that pathetic that we're going to see backups all season?

There was mention a while ago that Simmonds is seeking a 6 year deal, which to me is so ridiculous that it's not even worth discussing. He's gone.

It's very possible yes. If for example they can get q, ship out some core players to change the chemistry and make a couple of ufa signings we might be ok next year.

What scares me is I don't want him going crazy in ufa like he did for parise and suter. Those guys still have 6 years left on those contracts at huge money!

Build primarily through the draft and if you have to make hockey trades young player for young player fine.

True, but where is he now? Word is he's checked out.
Ever been to ED? It's 20 below in the winter and full of Mosquitoes in the summer. It's awesome! Not to mention the additional travel time for away games. CG is the closest team and even they are a few hours flight. Think of the wear and tear an extra 3 hours travel time to every away game can put on a guy... How about a road trip to FLA? McJesus will NOT finish his career there, likely not even his contract...

It's not at all ridiculous for Simmonds to be seeking a deal with term.

Of course not, it is a smart business move. Most likely his last NHL contract so he wants to capitalize on it for security, but for the Flyers it would be a terrible business move.
