If the cost is a pick (even a third), I think you definitely waive Ellie and hope. Maybe they can send Hunwick down on conditioning assignment or something like that...other teams do it, why not us?

Botts is in a tough position. Last year this is a no brainer. One of the waiver exempt two-way contract go down to Roch. With us being a playoff contender and the youngins playing well... waive Elie.

Someone pointed out the bottom 3 stripes in the white jersey are wrong (should be 2 yellow with a blue on the inside but meh, NBD). As long as the pants have the white/yellow/white stripe down them I'm happy.

I want to see Tage keep growing an working hard here also. He needs to make a new best friend and join Risto for his off season workout. Could you imagine Tage with about 10 to 15 pounds of muscle and that little bit of extra snarl Risto came into this year with?

I like what's going on with the youngins, must be patient. I know the 10 game win streak did not help the patience factor around here...but they are progressing. The original outlook for this year was to watch the team develop and fight for a playoff spot. I'm still trying to hold that as the goal. Do I want more? Abso-freaking-lutely! But I'm trying to keep myself in check too.

Erod played very well last night. Generated a lot of odd man chances. Not sure what buttons Housley pushed during the 1st intermission, but clearly they were the right ones.
