Time for the win streak to push ourselves just far enough out to not get a top 5 pick

The Flyers enter Thursday's game having allowed the third-fewest scoring chances in the NHL, according to NaturalStatTrick.com. That is meaningless, however, when a team clocks in at 30th in goals against average (3. 63).

For some reason, beyond explanation, I will be tuning into the game tonight. I spent 7 years outside of Buffalo and another 2 years in Illinois. Finally got back to the area and I have to 1. deal with Comcast, and 2. Watch this team. Center Ice package was great once they were allowed to start showing the Flyers home feed. It was blocked for a few years. Had to listen to all of the homers from the other teams.

Don't know where I was going with this post. Kinda like the Flyers season...

I'll always watch. Even in a season like this i still want to see Hart play well, guys like Sanheim, Hagg, Provorov, konecny, Patrick and soon Morin continue to improve.

I hate the results but there are things i look for.

This team is still my team. I still look forward to every game. I can't say I enjoy it as much or sometimes not at all when they're not competitive but it's still my team.

Bill,

I really appreciate that you said the Flyers are basically not making the playoffs. I think once the team admits this and moves the veterans out at the deadline and begins starting the youth the fans will understand and accept what is happening here and not be so hard on the team and players. At least that is how I feel as a STH. I dont mind watching losses, I do mind watching "meaningless" losses.

Same. And the cheap tickets are an opportunity to take the young ones. Not the same games my dad took me to when I was younger but they'll still make future fans out of them. Hart sanheim hagg among the positives imo from this season

Bill,

Given that Morin has been skating for well over a month, are there any reports on how he is looking? Is he working with any of the staff on break out passes or other issues that were identified as weaknesses?

We are fine losing nine!
Feel bad for Hart though.
I hope this toughens the kid mentally, I think he is tough enough to hold up and use this to grow into our Goalie of the future.
Anyone have any idea why Provy has regressed to this extent?

If he had an acl in March...I would hope we don’t see him until the fall

They should put in whatever random goalie they can get... might as well break the record.

25 James van Riemsdyk- 44 Phil Varone - 22 Dale Weise

He, like most, has been part of the problem not that he can't be better but my goodness, think he regrets signing here

Thought it was mcl but could be wrong. But they are saying February. I'd guess mid February. Than at least 2 week conditioning with the phantoms I assume.
